Reverse description Central field bears a multi-line poetic royal legend in nasta'liq script, naming Shah Abbas II with his epithet 'Sahebqerani' (Lord of the Auspicious Conjunction), accompanied by the mint name Shushtar and the AH date 1056, all struck in bold, sweeping calligraphy characteristic of mid-Safavid coinage. The inscription is divided into registers by a horizontal rule, with the mint name and regnal formula occupying the upper field and the date appearing in the lower segment. The flan displays typical hammered irregularity with moderate die wear consistent with circulation use.
