Reverse description The reverse displays a central cartouche containing the mint invocation and mint name in bold Nasta'liq Arabic script. The legend reads 'Ya Karim' — an invocatory epithet referencing Karim Khan Zand — above the mint formula 'Zarb Dar al-Saltana Qazwin,' identifying the royal mint city of Qazwin. The cartouche is enclosed within a prominent beaded inner border, with the open field below the cartouche left largely plain, consistent with the hammered coinage conventions of the Zand dynasty. The flan edges are irregular, typical of hand-struck Iranian silver of this period.
