| Obverse description | Nine-line funerary inscription set within an elaborate Baroque cartouche composed of scrolling foliate and shell ornaments. The inscription records the full titles of Georg Friedrich, Burgrave of Kirchberg and Count of Sayn and Wittgenstein, Lord of Farnroda. The cartouche is centrally positioned in the field, with the decorative surround filling the coin's surface to the milled edge.
