| 表面の説明 | The entire field is occupied by an eight-line Latin commemorative inscription arranged horizontally within a plain border. A small decorative foliate or floral ornament appears at the top of the field above the text. The legend, rendered in capital Roman lettering, reads: NEO NATO / TOT VOTIS & PRECIB, / DESIDERATO / AUSTRIAE ARCHIDUCI / PRINCIPI ASTURIAE / FOELIX AUSPICIUM / PUBLICA LAETITIA / A.M.DCCXVI.XIII.AP. / F.L.C.P.R., commemorating the birth of the long-desired Archduke of Austria and Prince of Asturias (the future Leopold Johann) in April 1716, with the initials of the issuing authority Francis Louis, Count Palatine of the Rhine (Franz Ludwig, Fürstbischof), appearing at the foot. |

| 裏面の説明 | Two eagles soaring upward in dynamic flight occupy the central field, their wings outspread, directed toward the radiant Eye of Providence situated in the upper portion of the design, from which rays emanate. A Latin legend arcs around or below the composition, reading FIRMAMENTO IMPERII, meaning 'for the foundation of the Empire', alluding to the birth of the imperial heir as a pillar of Habsburg dynastic continuity. The overall composition is rendered in the Baroque style characteristic of early eighteenth-century German ecclesiastical coinage. |
