背面描述	Large ornate heraldic shield bearing the facing Lion of St. Mark in full, rendered in the characteristic Venetian baroque style. The denomination '17 1/2' (representing 17½ soldi) is inscribed in the exergue below the shield. The surrounding legend invokes Saint Mark as patron of Venice.
