| Beschrijving voorzijde | Persian legend arranged in multiple lines across the field, largely falling off the irregular flan due to the small module. The inscription reads 'Sikka Mubarak Badshah Ghazi Akbar Shah' (The auspicious coin of the victorious Emperor Akbar Shah), accompanied by the AH regnal date. Lettering is in the Nastaliq calligraphic style typical of Mughal-era coinage. The date visible on the example AH (12)48 appears partially struck, consistent with the hand-struck hammered technique used at the Ahmedabad mint. |
