背面描述 Central device depicts a royal crown shown in three-quarter view, richly detailed with fleurs-de-lis, beaded arches, and scrollwork, held aloft by a hand emerging from the right side of the coin — a motif symbolizing divine or providential appointment. Below the crown, within the field, appears the mintmaster's mark or initials 'G S'. The surrounding legend in Latin reads '· A · DEO · DESTINATA ·' (Destined by God), separated by pellets, arranged along the upper arc within a beaded border. The reverse conveys a strong theological message appropriate to the coronation commemorative purpose of the issue.

附加信息

Gustav II Adolf married Maria Eleonora of Brandenburg in November 1620, and this issue commemorates her coronation as Queen of Sweden held the same year. The marriage had strategic weight — Brandenburg's neutrality and potential alliance mattered considerably as Sweden was already entangled in the Baltic conflicts that would eventually draw the kingdom into the Thirty Years' War. Coronation coinage of this period was produced in limited quantities for ceremonial distribution rather than general circulation, which accounts for the survival of relatively unworn examples despite their age.

SM#90 is among the scarcer pieces in the Schwedische Münzen reference, with few examples appearing at auction in any given decade.
