The legend commences at the upper left and reads continuously around the coin, identifying the issuing prelate by name and title. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Full-length frontal effigy of Saint Rupert, patron saint of Salzburg, depicted facing the viewer and holding a salt box in one hand and a crozier in the other, all contained within a double-circle border. The mitre of the saint divides the circular Latin legend at the top of the coin. The date appears within the reverse legend, localizing the issue to a specific year of the archbishop's reign. The composition follows the standard devotional iconographic tradition of Salzburg coinage of the early seventeenth century. |
