| Beschrijving voorzijde | Irregularly shaped hammered copper flan bearing bold Arabic script legend in the field, characteristic of the early Akbari coinage produced at the Delhi mint. The inscription, rendered in a somewhat crude but bold Naskh-style hand, occupies the majority of the flat field with no border ornament. The surface shows typical die-struck relief with uneven flan edges and dark oxidation patina consistent with struck copper of the mid-sixteenth century. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Reverse of this hammered copper damri features an Arabic script legend filling the field, giving the regnal or mint identification associated with the Delhi issue. The inscription is executed in a bold, somewhat angular Naskh hand with strokes radiating across the flan surface. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with traces of green cuprite patina visible at the margins, typical of Mughal base-metal coinage of the Ilahi era. |
