Obverse description Central field dominated by the crowned quartered coat of arms of Austria-Burgundy, surmounted by an imperial crown. The shield displays the characteristic quarterly arms incorporating the fess of Austria, the fleurs-de-lis of Burgundy, and the lion of Brabant, among other heraldic quarterings. The denomination numeral '4' appears to the left of the shield and the letter 'S' (for Stuivers) to the right, flanking the arms as value indicators. A beaded border frames the entire design, with the circular Latin legend running between the beaded rim and the central device.
