Reverse description The Lion of Judah passant left, wearing an imperial crown atop its mane and raising its right forepaw to hold a ribboned processional cross, stands on a raised ground line at center. The engraver's name LAGRANGE and the Paris mint mark A appear in the lower exergue below the groundline, flanked by mint privy marks. A circular Ge'ez legend reading the dynastic motto surrounds the lion in the upper and lateral fields, while the denomination in Ge'ez script occupies the lower segment of the legend.
