| 备注 |
The Banco Provincial de Santa Fé was one of several Argentine provincial banks authorized to issue their own paper currency under the banking framework that preceded federal monetary consolidation. This 1½ Peso denomination is an oddity — fractional face values of this kind typically emerged to address specific regional coin shortages rather than from any central monetary planning.
The bank was liquidated and its notes demonetized following the Baring Crisis and the national banking reforms of the early 1890s, which swept out most provincial issuers within a decade of this note's printing.
