| Obverse description | Bust of Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar facing left, wearing a tall jewelled Qajar crown and elaborate military uniform with epaulettes and decorations visible at the shoulder. The portrait is rendered in fine relief in the Persian royal tradition, occupying the majority of the coin's field. No surrounding legend or border inscription appears on this side. |
