Reverse description Central field occupied by a four-line Arabic inscription in Nasta'liq script enclosed within a dotted oval cartouche, reading the royal titles of Mozaffar ad-Din Shah. The cartouche is surrounded by a wreath of two symmetrical olive branches tied at the base, with a small date cartouche at the bottom of the wreath. A beaded inner border runs along the rim. The overall design follows the standard type of KM# 992 but struck on a piedfort flan of approximately five times the normal weight.
