Beschrijving voorzijde	The note is printed in green and black on plain paper. A central vignette presents the town's heraldic tree — a stylized birch set within a shield-shaped cartouche framed by draped green curtains — flanked on both sides by large denomination panels reading '1,50 Mark' in bold Gothic lettering within dotted borders. A decorative scroll banner at the top carries the town name in ornate blackletter script, while the lower section bears the issuing authority's mandate text and the denomination spelled out in full, with a serial number and series letter at bottom left.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse is dominated by a detailed landscape vignette in green and black, rendered in an engraved style, showing a panoramic view of the town of Lähn with smoke rising above rooftops, a ruined castle on the hilltop, and horsemen in the foreground.
