The AS332 Super Puma is a Franco-Spanish success story in rotary-wing aviation — developed by Aérospatiale with significant involvement from CASA, the Spanish aerospace manufacturer absorbed into what is now Airbus. Spain has operated the type extensively across military and civil roles, including search-and-rescue missions coordinated through the Spanish Air Force.
