| Reverse description | Central design features the Imperial State Crown in high relief, set with four inlaid gemstones along its base band — a sapphire, ruby, and emerald visible in sequence — and a diamond inlaid at the crown's top centre arch. The Sovereign's Orb and the Sovereign's Sceptre with Cross are depicted crossed behind the crown, all rendered against a polished dark field. To the upper left, a circular cartouche bears a smaller crown above the date 2002 and the inscription THE QUEEN'S GOLDEN JUBILEE, with the gold fineness notation Au. 999.9 inscribed beneath it. The peripheral legend reads 1952 · GOLDEN JUBILEE OF QUEEN ELIZABETH II · 2002, with the denomination 1/5 CROWN inscribed at the base of the design along with the Pobjoy Mint mark PM. |
