Obverse description Central device depicts a rising sun emerging from behind three mountain peaks, enclosed within a half-open wheat wreath. The Bikram Samvat date 2010 appears in the exergue below the central motif. A legend in Devanagari script arcs above the design, reading the royal name Tribhuvan Vir Vikram. The overall composition is rendered in a clean, formal style consistent with Nepalese royal gold coinage of the mid-twentieth century.
