| 背面描述 | The reverse displays in bold, large numerals the denomination '48' at the top of the field, followed by three lines of text reading EINEN / THALER, indicating the coin's value as one forty-eighth of a Thaler. The date 1805 appears in the lower portion of the field, beneath the denomination inscription. The layout is strictly typographic with no additional design elements, set within a plain border with a milled outer rim. |

Reuss-Lobenstein was one of the smallest and most obscure of the Thuringian Reuss principalities, a patchwork of micro-states whose ruling lines divided and subdivided by inheritance for centuries under the peculiar Reuss naming convention — every male heir, regardless of branch, was named Heinrich (Henry), distinguished only by number. Henry XXXV ruled Lobenstein from 1782 until the principality was absorbed into Reuss-Ebersdorf in 1806, making this 1805 issue effectively a final-year emission from a state on the verge of extinction.
