Reverse description The reverse bears a purely typographic design with no pictorial elements, presenting the denomination and issuing standard in bold capital lettering arranged across multiple lines within a plain field: '48' on the uppermost line indicating the fraction of the Conventions Thaler, followed by 'EIN CONVEN.' and 'THALER' denoting the monetary standard, the date '1773' below, and the mintmark 'G' at the base referencing the Günzburg mint.
