Obverse description Central field displays the crowned coat of arms of Bishop Clemens Wenzeslaus of Saxony, consisting of a baroque cartouche-style shield adorned with ornate foliate mantling on either side and surmounted by a princely crown. The shield bears the characteristic striped arms of the Bishopric of Augsburg. The circular legend surrounding the design reads: CLEM: WENC: D: G: EP: AUG: S: R: I: P:, identifying the bishop by name and title in abbreviated Latin.
