Obverse description Interlaced crowned script monogram 'AF' for Adolphus Frederick III, rendered in elaborate calligraphic style and surmounted by a princely crown, occupying the central field. The date 1746 is inscribed in the exergue below the monogram. The coin's border is formed by a closely spaced milled or beaded rim encircling the entire design.
