Obverse description Central field dominated by a broad, stylized conch shell (sankha) rendered in a bold, schematic manner, enclosed within a raised circular border composed of large beads. The conch shell is depicted in profile with characteristic spiral whorl and flared opening, exhibiting the highly conventionalized artistic idiom typical of Mon coinage of the late 8th to early 9th century. The beaded border is prominent and well-defined, framing the central motif against an irregular, slightly concave field consistent with hammered production. No inscriptions or legends are present.
