| Reverse description | Central device depicts the imperial Iranian lion passant to the right, holding a sword in its right forepaw, with a radiant sun rising behind its back — the classic Lion and Sun emblem of Qajar Persia. The lion and sun device is surrounded by a decorative wreath of leafy branches. The denomination 'ربع تومان' (Quarter Toman) appears within the design, with the Hijri solar year 1295 and the Hijri lunar year 1324 inscribed in the lower portion of the field. Fine beaded border runs along the outer rim. |
