Obverse description Full-length armored effigy of Emperor Rudolph II facing front, holding a scepter in his right hand and an imperial orb in his left. Two crowned heraldic shields flank the figure: the Bohemian lion shield at left and the Hungarian arms at right. A mint mark — a shield charged with three five-pointed stars — appears between the emperor's feet. The design is enclosed within an inner circle, with a Latin legend arranged around it.
