| Obverse description | Crowned and armored bust of Matthias II facing right, wearing a ruffled lace collar and elaborately decorated armor with a draped mantle, his beard neatly trimmed. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Habsburg portrait style, with the royal crown surmounting the head.
