| Reverse description | A crowned, ornate flat-topped heraldic shield bearing a composite coat of arms with the escutcheon of Upper Alsace positioned at center, the whole encircled by the collar and pendant badge of the Order of the Golden Fleece within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend is divided at left and right by two small subsidiary shields bearing the arms of Habsburg and Ferrette respectively. The overall design reflects the elaborate dynastic heraldry typical of early seventeenth-century Austrian territorial coinage. |
