Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Leopold I facing right, featuring a prominent flowing curly wig in the baroque style. The effigy is set within a rhombus frame, the corners of which intersect the inner pearl border to create four quadrants. To the left of the bust appears the Hungarian shield, and to the right the Madonna and Child. A cartouche at the base of the rhombus displays the fractional denomination (1/4). The encircling Latin legend runs along the outer rim.
