| 正面铭文 | IOHAN PHILIP ET FRID DEI GRA |
| 背面描述 | Two confronted draped busts facing one another at center, representing Duke John William IV and Duke Frederick William II of Saxe-Altenburg, shown in contemporary armorial dress with ruffled collars. The date 1606 is prominently displayed in the upper field between the two effigies. A beaded inner circle frames the portrait group, with the Latin legend running around the outer periphery. Heraldic rose or quatrefoil ornaments separate segments of the legend at the base of the coin. The reverse continues the dynastic joint-portrait convention established on the obverse, consistent with the multi-ruler coinage traditions of the Ernestine Saxon duchies. |
