Obverse description Square klippe flan bearing a cartouche-style shield at centre, depicting a rearing stag to the right, accompanied by a crescent moon to the left and a six-pointed star to the upper right of the field. The date 1·5·65 is divided across the lower portion of the shield. A curved scroll banner arching above the shield bears the abbreviated legend IO·SE·REX·VN, referencing Johan Sigismund as King of Hungary.
