| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the elaborately quartered and impaled coat of arms of Elector George Louis of Brunswick-Lüneburg, surmounted by an Electoral bonnet. The escutcheon displays the heraldic charges of the constituent territories, including lions, a horse, and other dynastic emblems. The date 1703 is divided across the field, with '17' to the left and '03' to the right of the shield. The mintmaster's initials 'HB' (Heinrich Bonhorst) appear in the lower field, flanking the shield. The circumferential Latin legend runs along the outer border. |
