The mint official's initials C·W· appear within a cartouche on the truncation of the bust. The encircling Latin legend reads FRIDER·II·D·G·DVX SAXO-GOTH·, separated by a stop. The coin is bordered by a fine toothed or milled rim, framing the effigy with a neat inner circle. |
