Obverse description Laureate, armored and draped bust of Emperor Charles VI facing right, occupying the central field. The legend runs around the periphery commencing at approximately 8 o'clock, with the fractional denomination indicated in the field. The portrait is rendered in the baroque imperial style characteristic of early 18th-century Habsburg coinage.

Reverse description Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed in the central field, bearing on its breast a crowned composite shield quartered with the arms of Castile, Hungary, Austria, and Burgundy, with a smaller inescutcheon of Bohemia at the center. The entire ensemble is encircled by the collar and pendant of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The peripheral legend runs around the circumference with the date appearing at the conclusion of the inscription.
