Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Charles VI facing right, wearing armour with an ornate clasp at the shoulder and a lace cravat visible at the neck. The effigy is rendered in high relief with finely detailed curling hair cascading to the shoulder. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, reading CAROL VI D G R I S A GE HI HU BO REX, denoting his titles as Holy Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia, Hungary, and other realms. The coin's milled edge frames the design. The overall style reflects the accomplished baroque engraving tradition of the Hall mint in Tyrol.
