| 裏面の説明 | Archangel Michael, depicted as a winged warrior in baroque armour and plumed helmet with a radiate nimbus, triumphant over a writhing dragon which he tramples underfoot at the lower field. He raises a sword in his right hand while bearing an oval shield inscribed UT DEUS on his left arm. The bold Latin legend encircles the composition within a beaded border, proclaiming the dedicatory inscription of the Beromünster collegiate chapter. |

Beromünster was one of the few Swiss collegiate abbeys with the right to strike coinage, a privilege it exercised sporadically rather than systematically. By 1720, that minting authority was already an anachronism — the broader Swiss monetary environment was consolidating, and small ecclesiastical issues like this one were increasingly marginal in actual commerce. Surviving examples are rare simply because output was low and the issuing institution was minor.
