Obverse description Five-line Latin inscription reading CAPITVLVM METROPOLI TANVM MOGVN TINVM SEDE VACANTE, with the date 1732 at the base, all contained within an ornate wreath of stylized foliate branches tied at the bottom. The lettering is boldly rendered in capital characters, filling the central field, with the wreath forming a decorative border around the entire inscription.
