Reverse description Irregular square hammered flan bearing a two-line Arabic inscription in raised relief across the field, divided by a prominent horizontal line into upper and lower registers. The legend, giving the sultan's name and dynastic epithet, is struck in a bold, somewhat compressed Naskh-influenced script characteristic of Malwa Sultanate small denomination coinage. The lower register exhibits the densely packed letterforms visible in the image, with individual characters showing the wear and striking irregularity typical of billon quarter-tanka pieces of this period. No mint name or regnal year appears on this die.
