Reverse description Square cast tin coin with a central recessed square depression set within a flat border bearing an Arabic inscription in cursive script arranged around all four sides of the border field. The legend, reading in Arabic, identifies the issuing authority and records the date of issue in the Islamic calendar month of Rajab in the year 1295 AH. The casting is typical of traditional Malay tin coinage, with the surface showing characteristic casting texture and minor irregularities inherent to the hand-cast technique. A small casting hole is present on the left side.
