The inscription is enclosed within a beaded circle border, with groups of pellets flanking the legend to the left. The field beyond the lettering is plain and slightly convex, consistent with the hammered flan of a Late Iron Age British quarter stater. The legend reads COM F, interpreted as an abbreviation for Commios Filius, meaning 'Son of Commios', asserting dynastic lineage. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A stylised horse prancing to the right occupies the central field, rendered in the schematic yet vigorous Celtic artistic tradition, with pellet-ended limbs and a rounded, segmented body.
