Opis awersu	Crowned bust of King Frederik I facing right, holding a sceptre, with the date divided at either side of the effigy, all within a beaded inner ring. A Latin legend encircles the portrait between the inner beaded ring and a further beaded ring at the rim. The portrait is rendered in the bold, somewhat schematic style typical of early sixteenth-century Danish hammered coinage.

Opis rewersu	A crowned shield bearing the arms of Denmark is superimposed on a long cross that divides the surrounding legend into four segments, all contained within a beaded inner ring. The heraldic shield displays the characteristic quartered arms of the Danish royal house. A Latin inscription encircles the design between the inner beaded ring and a secondary beaded ring at the rim, identifying the coin as a new issue of Copenhagen.
