| Reverse description | The shield of the Arms of Jersey occupies the centre of the field, depicting three golden lions passant guardant arranged vertically on a red ground, as borne in the Royal Arms of England for Normandy. The date is divided to either side of the shield at mid-field. The upper legend ·BAILIWICK·OF·JERSEY· arcs around the top periphery, while the denomination ONE·FOURTH·OF·A·SHILLING curves along the bottom, all separated by raised dot stops. The design was engraved by George Kruger Gray and the rim is bounded by a beaded border. |
