Reverse description Three lines of Persian Naskh script occupy the central field, conveying the mint and regnal year formula reading 'Zarb Arcat sanat 6', meaning struck at Arcot in the 6th regnal year. The numeral 6 appears prominently in the upper portion of the field, accompanied by a floral rosette device to its left. Decorative dot ornaments are scattered throughout the field between the lines of inscription, and the whole design is enclosed within a continuous toothed border.
