The truncation of the neck is plain and undecorated. A continuous Latin legend encircles the effigy along the rim, reading CARL XIV SVERIGES NORR. G. OCH V. KONUNG, identifying the monarch as King of Sweden, Norway, the Goths and the Wends. The beaded inner border frames the design, and the field is otherwise plain. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The crowned greater arms of Sweden occupy the central field, surrounded by the collar chain of the Order of the Seraphim. The fractional denomination ./4 R. SP. appears divided at either side of the shield. The king's personal motto FOLKETS KÄRLEK MIN BELÖNING (The love of the people is my reward) arcs above the arms, while the date and mintmark appear below, separated by the pendant of the Seraphim chain. The entire composition is contained within a beaded border. |
