| Obverse description | The entire field is occupied by a multi-line Latin commemorative inscription arranged across nine lines within a beaded border. The text records the marriage of Gustav II Adolf and Maria Eleonora and her coronation as Queen of Sweden on 27 November 1620 in Stockholm. A small floriate ornament appears at the base of the inscription below the final line. The lettering is rendered in bold Roman capitals characteristic of early seventeenth-century Swedish hammered coinage. |

| Reverse description | The central device depicts a royal crown of Swedish form, richly ornamented with scrollwork, pearls, and a cross at its apex, presented upon an open hand issuing from the right side of the field, symbolising divine bestowal of sovereignty. The circular Latin legend surrounds the device along the periphery within a beaded border, reading clockwise. The composition alludes to the providential union of Maria Eleonora with the Swedish crown. |
