Obverse description Central field bears a three-line Arabic-script legend reading 'Rایج مملکت ایران' (Currency of the Kingdom of Iran) and 'ربعی' (Rub'i, quarter), all enclosed within a wreath of oak and olive branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The inscription is rendered in elegant Naskh calligraphy and dominates the entire face of the coin. The inner wreath is surrounded by a plain border with a beaded rim running along the coin's edge.
