Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a large radiant sunburst of alternating long and short rays emanating from a central medallion, which depicts a Phrygian liberty cap inscribed LIBERTAD, encircled by a wreath of clouds. The denomination legend UNA CUARTILLA arcs around the upper left periphery, accompanied by a small five-pointed star, all in raised Latin letters. The date 1836 is prominently displayed in the lower exergual area beneath the sunburst design.
