Obverse description Draped bust of Liberty facing left, her hair swept upward and bound, occupying the central field. The mint mark appears at the lower left and the assayer's initials at the lower right of the bust, flanking it in the field. A fine milled border encircles the design. The overall style is characteristic of early Mexican federal coinage, rendered in low relief on a small flan.
