| Beschrijving keerzijde | A prominent patriarchal cross — featuring two transverse bars — displayed at the centre of the field, its four quadrants each adorned with decorative scallop shells rendered in a stylised floral or trefoil manner. The cross is set within a beaded inner circle, with the overall composition typical of medieval Aragonese ecclesiastical coinage. The surrounding legend runs continuously between the inner beaded circle and the outer border. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Pedro IV of Aragon — "el Ceremoniós" — absorbed Majorca into the Crown of Aragon in 1343 after a brief military campaign against his cousin Jaume III, ending the independent Kingdom of Majorca permanently. This fractional gold issue belongs to the coinage that followed reintegration, struck under Aragonese authority but maintaining a distinct Majorcan identity in its monetary output. The 1/4 real denomination itself is uncommon in gold at this weight class for the period.
