Obverse description Central field features a crowned lion rampant facing left, rendered in bold relief, representing the Kingdom of León from the Spanish royal arms. The lion is depicted with an open mouth, raised forepaws, and a curling tail, set against a plain field. The coin is bordered by a continuous beaded inner rim. No legend appears on this side, consistent with the design type for this denomination. The overall style reflects the simplified heraldic engraving tradition of the Potosí Mint.
