| Obverse description | Central field features a crowned and robed effigy of Nāṣer al-Dīn Shāh Qājār facing right, depicted in a formal court portrait style characteristic of mid-19th century Qajar coinage. The royal figure is flanked on either side by stylized foliate branches, likely olive or cypress, forming a wreath-like frame around the portrait. An Arabic legend appears above the effigy within the field. The design is rendered in relatively low relief with a slightly irregular flan edge typical of provincial Qajar mint production. |
